Here's a look at these slow fall days on Elmira Pond. Joining up with Abracabadra for Wordless Wednesday. And, for once, I have few words as I savor these shots.

Lovely shots! I especially love the one of the blackbirds. Looks like some lazy days before Winter comes. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! The gathering of the blackbirds is amazing. It's the only time I see them in the pines.
DeleteSorry for the apples gone missing...Gonna think of you when I bite into mine. Nopes, I am not teasing but mean it genuinely :)
ReplyDeleteLoved how betsy is rolling in the dirt...such a liberating feel.
Pleasure to have you back on board, Charli :)

Ha, ha! Enjoy your apples, you tease! I grumble because now I have to buy apples at the store. That cat is always rolling on the dirt. Thanks! Good to be back on board.
DeleteYou capture this time of year perfectly with your lovely photos Charli. Sweet Bootsy, I love her!! Lost autumn dreams replaced with others gained... you are surrounded by beauty and love!
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks!
DeleteI've been missing my visits to Elmira Pond. It's nice to catch up again and see the changing seasons. I love the photo of the little Nuthatch in the pine tree. It looks gorgeous. I don't think we have them here. Sad to see the apples trees laid bare. What will you make of the quinces?
ReplyDeleteI didn't know we had nuthatches either! My first sighting. So many birds pass through in a day this time of year.

DeleteBeautiful shots. Snapdragons remind me of my parents place. :)
ReplyDeleteSnapdragons are so pretty! I'm surprised they like the cooler weather.
DeleteBeautiful pictures. Love the blue heron.
