The water is clear and cold, but it is yet warm enough during the day to dip in the swimming hole on the Pack River. Kneeling in the white sand with water to my chin, I stretch out my arms and watch the river flow to me, past me, gurgling like a child in play.

Those dogs love the river! We can't take them in the spring because they don't understand how swift spring run-off is and they try to jump in! Thanks for checking out the view!
