A northern Idaho writer contemplates birds, imagination and country-living from the peaty shore of a bog pond.
The water is clear and cold, but it is yet warm enough during the day to dip in the swimming hole on the Pack River. Kneeling in the white sand with water to my chin, I stretch out my arms and watch the river flow to me, past me, gurgling like a child in play.
Amazing photos. I can picture the hubby fishing while I am scribbling in my notebook creating the next best selling western. I love your stories and photos! Thanks!
I love places like this. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous spot!
And it's such a great time of year for visiting our outdoors hot spots! Thanks for taking a peek.
That is one happy dog in the river! I would be happy to run through it too. Thanks for the lovely view, Charli.
Those dogs love the river! We can't take them in the spring because they don't understand how swift spring run-off is and they try to jump in! Thanks for checking out the view!
Me too!Would love to wade thru the waters esp after a rainfall :)Loved the captures, Charli.thanks for linking up with abracabadra
It's so peaceful to just bob in the water, and yes after rainfall, too. Thanks for the hop op! :-)
